Raising tween girls can feel both beautiful and bewildering. This informal Q&A breakout session offers parents a safe, supportive space to ask honest questions and gain practical insight into the emotional, social, and developmental world of tween girls. Led by a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families, the session will explore topics such as anxiety, self-esteem, friendships, peer pressure, emotional regulation, communication, technology and social media, identity development, and strengthening parent-child connection during these formative years. Parents are encouraged to bring their questions, concerns, and real-life experiences for an open, relatable, and encouraging conversation about navigating the tween years with wisdom, confidence, and compassion.
These sessions will be held during 11:30am-12:15pm and 2:05pm-2:50pm on Saturday, July 18th.
Our goal at IHIP is to bring a generation of girls back to the principles of scripture, unveiling what it truly means to be a child of God. We believe that if girls understand their need for a Savior, who that Savior is, and the intrinsic worth that is found in Him alone, they will learn to love exactly who God made them to be.
Overnight stay is OPTIONAL, if your daughter(s) are staying overnight here's what they should bring:
